Stride Guides make architecture, cultural heritage and tourist destinations come to life.

A Stride Guide is a downloadable audio guide presented as a walk. Stride Guides have been developed by Stride Design to enhance the visitor experience of a destination by providing a web-based, multimedia digital platform for interactive maps, written text, images, audio and video.

These tried and tested guides allow a visitor to explore a place in their own time, switching their iPod or MP3 player on and off as they go. The map can be printed out to accompany the visit. Visitors can preview a destination before they visit, and leave feedback afterwards.

The guides are written by experts and are professionally narrated. They can include interviews with key commentators, music and other sound effects.

Visit Planner

Stride are developing the system to include a “build your own” itinerary planner. This will allow users to plan their own visit and book tickets before they visit.

Stride Guides are suitable for incorporation on to handheld devices.
